Gabriella Anahí Neves (she/her) is a Miami-based artist and designer. The intention behind Anahí’s body of work is to transmute the melancholy associated with youth into an exploration manifested through delicate yet eccentric artworks. The pieces aim to serve as a secluded space—a nook that leads towards a different existence. An alternate reality where our childhood selves are depicted, adorned with whimsical essences reminiscent of animals in clothing.

She employs the character of "Kitty Girl" as a satirical lens through which to examine her experiences, particularly in the context of youth and societal norms. Through the whimsical guise of "Kitty Girl," Anahí explores playful introspection and symbolizes innocence and absurdism in equal measure. Infused with hues of pinks, reds, and pastels, the artworks are crafted using an array of methods. In recent developments, fiber has been incorporated alongside felting and weaving techniques to enhance the narrative of childhood vulnerability and textures.
